Never understood why people criticised Dawnguard so much. It seemed like a great, complete DLC to me, well worth the price (and the wait - I play on PS3). Serana alone made it worth getting, but the questline was good and the new werewolf & especially vampire abilities were fantastic. Ultimately the criticism seemed to come down to people whining "I don't like vampires so Bethesda should have done something else". :rolleyes:
Anyway, love this shot. Serana actually looks vaguely menacing here, though still beautiful, as a pure blooded vampire should. My only real criticism was that Serana wasn't quite "vampiric" enough (for instance, she never uses her Vamp Lord form).
Keep believing that then. But she's a Volkihar Vampire Lord and as such can shift into a Vampire Lord form. If you mean that there isn't one coded into the game, then that's kind of what I was talking about in the first place.
That was my whole point. Bethesda didn't give Serana the ability to transform, or to feed, or do anything "vampire-ish". That doesn't mean that according to Elder Scrolls lore she isn't able to do those things, though. She is.
Ah, but wouldn't she become naggy once you married her? I abandoned the idea of getting married after I saw what it did to Aela's personality on my first playthrough. I would NOT want that to happen to Serana. (Sadly, she gets kind of boring once the quest is over anyway, once most of her dialogue options have gone)
Serana's definitely one pretty awesome vamp! Damn; now I'm torn between returning to New Vegas, getting back to Skyrim, chasing after RumBelle ideas, and actually finishing my f*'in story! >w< So much to do, and now so little time; college is just a few weeks away... =w=;
