I think I have an obsession, I seriously can't take enough pictures of her. I edited this while listening to PewDiePie scream his head off playing Ao Oni: [link]
Because they're stupid and don't understand her character development or struggle. She considers her vampirism great power that she has earned, the fact that she has to be persuaded to give it up shows that she doesn't want to. I find it baffling that some people would completely disregard that and do what they want and not even take her desires into consideration. You can really tell how some people are with the way they make decisions, in and out of the gaming world.
Yeah. They're saying they're not satisfied with the problems while playing it on PS3. Some even said we might not ever get Dawnguard. I hope they're wrong. Bethesda has recently gotten help from Sony and maybe they can solve the issue together. Anyway here is the chapter with Serana. If you wish to see the previous ones, just ask.
*Gorgeously* haunting image. Bethesda was really shooting for the fence when they brought her into the game, even her voice actress (Laura Baley) just nailed it. Given how the relationship develops between her and the Dragonborn I don't understand why Bethesda decided to perform a narrative, for want of a better term, "cock block" by having things be so complicated with her that a full romance isn't possible. Why?!
Depends how you look at it. You COULD notice the fact that characters with unique voice actors are not marriable (is that even a word?), and apparently Bethesda didn't want to pay for Laura Bailey to say the extra dialogue for marriage. OR you could assume that vampires don't care for standard Skyrim marriage (and as they don't care for the Divines, Mara included, I don't see why they would) and instead have simply choose to "mate" with each other. In which case, it's up to you to make do with the dialogue you're given and just roleplay that you and Serana are a mated pair by vampire customs. No gods, no ceremonies, just a lot of blood and sex. You can even enchant a special pair of rings if you want.
If it wasn't for the fact that she has specific dialog that negates the option of marriage, I could see this as being rather easy to do, i.e. Head-Cannon it all the way I want. I've done with other RPGs for sure.
It's just that Bethesda *really* seemed to want to go out of their way to drive the point home that you couldn't marry Serena; their mindset seems to be that by making her a marriagable (spelling?) companion it would cheapen her somehow.
Laura Bailey even commented on it via her Twitter when a fan asked why we couldn't marry her in Skyrim. Her response (paraphrasing) was something along the lines of, "I'm not?! Then why did I record all that 'I love you' dialog?"
and it still hasn't launched on ps3? that's insane!

Lydia, Muiri and Mjoll surely are stockpiling on holy water and stakes: "That bitch..."
